Something is seriously wrong with this bank. The trickery they use to try and MAKE ME slip up is just wrong. I am on to them... I have never fallen for their subterfuge, thankfully. I notice patterns in the way they try and play games with my account... I wait until it passes and then I can access my money. Sometimes I go 5 days or more, after making a deposit, without touching MY funds, to assure myself they've actually posted the money to my account. I've even had transactions pend for 2 weeks, transactions disapear for a week, fortunately, I keep written records of all my transactions. I know that most merchants batch out nightly, yet something is amiss in my account. I get things in the mail I order online before they deduct the money from my account. I wonder what kind of malware they use to target people's accounts. My favorite is the funds availability delay. I know that banks reserve the right to hold checks, but every single time is not cool. I somehow feel like I did something wrong when this happens... like I'm trying to "get one over on them". I make the same deposit amount, from the same person, the same time every month for the last 3 years. I have to call and ask what the hold up is and they always say it's "for my protection". They always immediately release the funds because there is never a valid reason why it's being held, It's just lame that I have to call the branch and remind them. The only protection I need, it seems, is from them. If they don't trust me, I certainly don't trust them. I go out of my way to do right by them, somehow I get punished for it. I've never had a blemish on my account with them... and I really feel they don't have my best interest at heart. BB&T... your slip is showing. MARK MY WORDS YOU'LL NEVER GET $35 FROM ME IF I HAVE TO EAT CAT FOOD FOR A WEEK YOU WON'T CATCH ME SLIPPING YOU HIGHWAY ROBBERS!
